No two jobs are the same, building age, access, scope and materials all change the price, so we always give you a written quote after a free site survey or phone consultation, with VAT @ 20% on a separate line.

Kitchen Electrics

Sockets, hob & oven circuits, under-cabinet lighting, induction-ready upgrades. Whole kitchen install from £750.

House Rewires

Full or partial. Priced per property after a free survey. Includes new consumer unit.

Fuse Board / Consumer Unit Upgrade

Small flat or bungalow from £550. 3-bed house from £750. Larger property with AFDD + SPD + bonding from £1,200.

BS 5839-6 mains-interlinked alarms with battery backup. Single alarm from £180, full house pack from £750.

Lighting Design & Install

Whole-house lighting design and install. Typical 3-bed scheme from £1,500, larger schemes from £4,500.

Garden Lighting

IP-rated outdoor lighting, path lights, spike lights, festoon, garden sockets. Priced after walk-round, depends on cable run length.

Commercial & Compliance

EICRs, fire alarms, CCTV, emergency lighting, PAT testing, landlord compliance, fleet EV and contracted commercial work. NAPIT-approved, BS 7671 18th Edition.

EICR, Electrical Installation Condition Report

Per circuit, not flat rate. Domestic / single-phase from £30 per circuit. Commercial / 3-phase from £40 per circuit. Heritage / listed-building priced after walk-round.

EV Charger Installation

7.4kW domestic chargers (Zappi, Hypervolt, Ohme). Type A RCBO, dedicated 32A circuit, OZEV-approved installer.

Fire Alarms

BS 5839-1 commercial fire alarm systems, design, install, commission, maintenance. Priced per device count and grade.

Emergency & Callouts

24-hour emergency electrician across Mid Somerset. One of the two directors answers the phone, not a call centre. Contract clients pay reduced rates.

In-hours Callout (Mon-Fri 08:00-18:00)

First hour labour included. Labour thereafter from £65/hr. Parts at trade cost + 10%.

Evening / Saturday Callout

Mon-Fri after 18:00, and Saturdays. First hour labour included. Out-of-hours labour thereafter from £95/hr.

Overnight / Sunday / Bank Holiday Callout

23:00-06:00 any day, all day Sunday, all bank holidays. First hour labour included. Out-of-hours labour thereafter from £95/hr.

Labour rate, in-hours

Hourly labour rate after first hour for in-hours callouts and routine work.

Labour rate, out-of-hours
