We install IP (network) cameras exclusively. They offer 4K+ resolution, smart features like AcuSense person/vehicle detection, and remote viewing. Analogue systems are outdated and can't match the image quality or smart detection of modern IP cameras.
Yes. We set up Hik-Connect on your phone during installation. You can view live feeds, receive motion alerts, and playback recordings from anywhere with an internet connection. Works on iPhone and Android.
Domestic CCTV generally doesn't need planning permission. However, you must comply with GDPR if cameras capture areas beyond your property boundary. We provide GDPR-compliant signage as standard and advise on camera positioning.
Typically 2–4 weeks depending on the number of cameras and hard drive size. We usually specify a 2TB or 4TB NVR. Motion-only recording extends storage significantly compared to continuous recording.
