Shepton Mallet (BA4) is home to the Royal Bath & West showground and a mix of Victorian terraces, modern estates around Charlton Road, and rural villages out to Pilton, Evercreech and Doulting. Period properties round the Market Place often have tight, awkward bathrooms and original immersion installs that need a full rethink rather than a like-for-like swap.

Final price depends on access, cable routes, existing wiring and scope. Survey is free; written quote is fixed. Read the disclaimer below the cards before assuming.
Yes. We're 12 minutes from Shepton, do regular work on properties around the Royal Bath & West showground, and are familiar with the equestrian, agricultural and rural-business setups in BA4. Outdoor sockets, hot tubs in stable yards and farm-office wiring are part of our routine work.
Yes — every hot tub circuit gets a Type A 30mA RCBO. Hot tubs use VFDs (variable frequency drives) for pump speed control, which generate DC residual currents that a Type AC RCD can't see. A Type A RCBO is mandatory under BS 7671 for any circuit with electronic motor control. We never use Type AC on hot tubs.
Distance isn't usually the limiting factor — cable size is. For a 32A run over 20m we'd typically use 6mm SWA; over 30m we'd up to 10mm to keep volt drop under 5%. We calculate this as part of the survey and confirm before pricing the cable run.
