19-inch comms cabinets from 6U wall-mount to 42U floor-standing. Patch panels, PDU, UPS, cable management, dressing and labelling. Done properly the first time, so the next contractor can read it.

We size the cabinet to the kit plus 25% headroom — never tight. Wall-mount up to about 12U where weight allows; floor-standing from 18U up. Full 19-inch rack mount with adjustable rails, lockable front and side panels, vented for passive cooling.
Single switch, router, small patch panel. Offices, retail back rooms, comms cupboards. 450–600 mm depth.
Switch + patch + UPS + NVR for IP CCTV. 24–48 ports. Most commercial sites land here. 600 mm depth standard.
Multiple switches, larger UPS, server, NVR, full patch panels. 600×800 mm or 600×1000 mm footprint.
Stacked switches, multi-server, redundant UPS, fibre patching, MoRs. 800 mm wide for vertical cable managers.
24 / 48-port Cat6 / Cat6a. Keystone or punch-down. Labelled both ends.
Sized to the load. Cabled and patched, ports labelled to match.
Switched / metered, vertical or horizontal mount. Labelled per outlet.
Rack-mount Eaton or APC. Sized for runtime. Comms-monitored.
Vertical and horizontal finger-ducts. Velcro ties only — no zip-ties on data.
Brother / Brady labels both ends, on the patch panel and the wall plate. Matches cable test sheet.
Dedicated 6 mm² protective conductor to main earth. Doors bonded to frame.
Passive vents standard. Roof / side fans with thermostat for higher-density loads.
A network cabinet that’s a tip costs you money on every callout for the rest of its life. We dress and label every cabinet so the next person who opens the door — whether that’s us, your IT team, or another contractor — can trace any port in seconds.
Cabinet U-count = current kit + 25% growth. We never spec a 9U cabinet that’s already 8U full on day one — that’s a rebuild waiting to happen. Same for PDU outlets, switch ports and UPS capacity.
Vertical cable managers down both sides, horizontal finger-ducts between every patch panel and switch, service loops sized to allow movement without strain. Velcro at fixed intervals — never zip-ties, which kink the cable and break NEXT performance.
Brother / Brady industrial labels on every patch panel port AND every wall plate / floor box at the other end. Numbers match the cable tester test sheet, so any port can be traced from either end without a toner.
Switched, metered PDU at the top. UPS at the bottom (heaviest item, lowest centre of gravity). Surge protection on the PDU input. Power load balanced across UPS phases for 3-phase rooms.
Dedicated 6 mm² protective conductor from the cabinet earth bar back to the main electrical earth, sized for the full fault current. Every door, side panel and removable section bonded back to the frame with braided straps. BS 7671 + IEEE compliant.
You get a PDF pack: the patch schedule (port to wall plate to room), the test report per port, the rack elevation diagram showing what’s in which U, the IP plan, the credentials list. Hand it to the next contractor in five years — it still makes sense.
We take messy existing cabinets apart, document what was there, re-cable as needed, replace patch panels if they’re beyond saving, dress and label everything to spec, and hand back a clean test pack. Always done out of hours for sensitive sites.
Front, side and (on floor cabinets) rear doors lockable as standard. For PCI / ICO-sensitive environments we add cage locks, an internal dome camera in the cabinet, and door-open sensors wired to the alarm panel.

Dressed, labelled, documented, lockable. The cabinet you actually want to inherit.
