We cover the southern edge of Bristol only — we do not work in central Bristol (BS1–BS16). If you are in Keynsham, Saltford, the Chew Valley or the BS39 villages, you are firmly inside our patch.
Our patch on the southern Bristol fringe runs from Keynsham and Saltford (BS31), through the Chew Valley (BS40) — Chew Magna, Chew Stoke, Stanton Drew, Bishop Sutton, Blagdon, Pensford and Winford — and across the BS39 villages of Clutton, Temple Cloud, High Littleton, Paulton, Timsbury and Farrington Gurney. To be clear: this is the southern fringe, not the city itself — we do not cover central Bristol.
Chew Valley and BS39 properties are often period stone cottages or former mining-village housing, and a fair number still have old rubber- or lead-sheathed cabling or a rewireable-fuse board that needs a full rewire to make safe. Keynsham and Saltford are more mixed — Victorian terraces and post-war stock alongside newer builds. Where a cottage is listed or sits in a conservation area, we route carefully around stone walls, low beams and lath-and-plaster ceilings, and liaise with the conservation officer where required.

Yes — every rewire we do is to BS 7671 18th edition (current Wiring Regulations) with full RCBO protection on every circuit (no shared RCDs), CU upgrade to dual-RCD or full-RCBO board, AFDD on bedroom circuits per the 2022 amendment. EICR before and after, Part P certificate filed via NAPIT.
Both. A partial rewire might be: kitchen and bathroom only (commonly needed at refurbishment); upstairs only (after a loft conversion); replacement of one ring main; consumer unit upgrade only. We test what stays and certify what we install — you get a BS 7671 certificate for the new work and an EICR on the rest.
Most domestic rewires can be done with you in residence — we work room-by-room, dust-sheet everything, and the supply is only off for short periods (always restored at the end of each day). For larger or commercial sites we plan around your operating hours. After-hours and weekend work available for retail and offices.
