Mid Somerset commercial coverage

Forty-minute drive radius from BA6 Glastonbury. That keeps reactive callouts real, planned maintenance affordable, and the same engineer on every visit.

Plus south Bristol BS39, BS40 and BS31 — Keynsham, Chew Magna, Paulton, Pensford, Compton Martin and the BANES fringe villages. Within radius for commercial work.

Direct contractor, not a procurement layer.

Most commercial electrical contractors are middlemen — they sell the job, then send a labour-only subcontractor to deliver it. That works for the contractor's overhead, less so for your project. We work differently.

One engineer, every visit

Dan Stevens is the director, the quoting engineer, the installing engineer and the signatory. No handover loss between sales and delivery. The face on site is the face you spoke to on the phone.

Accredited for pre-qual

NAPIT 66245, CHAS 158368, TrustMark, Part P. We self-submit to every accreditation directly — no third-party paperwork brokers, so your due-diligence pack is always current and signed by the person doing the work.

Three-phase specialism

415V distribution boards, sub-mains, motor control panels, three-phase EV chargers and commercial kitchen supplies. City & Guilds 2391 inspector, 2365 installer qualifications, 18th Edition certified.

Compliance as deliverable

Every job ends with certificates, not just an invoice. EIC and EICR via NAPIT; BS 5839 fire alarm design certificates; BS 5266 emergency lighting commissioning. All filed and emailed within 48 hours of completion.

Out-of-hours capable

Retail evening installs, school holiday rewires, hospitality overnight EICRs, hotel guest-room slots. We schedule around your trading day, not ours.

BACS, not card-machine markup

BACS-only payment, 14-day terms on commercial. No Stripe surcharges on your invoice, transparent VAT at 20%, Companies House 13972348, VAT GB 429040905, fully insured to £2M public liability.

Do you install three-phase commercial supplies?

Yes. Three-phase distribution boards, sub-mains, motor control panels and EV three-phase fast chargers are standard work. We test and certify to BS 7671 18th Edition.

Can you handle BS 5839 fire alarms and BS 5266 emergency lighting?

Yes. Grade D domestic, commercial Cat M, Cat L4 and L5 fire alarm systems designed, installed and serviced. Emergency lighting designed to BS 5266 with monthly flick-test design and annual three-hour discharge certification.

Do you offer planned electrical maintenance contracts?

Yes. Annual EICR, monthly emergency-lighting tests, six-monthly fire-alarm service, PAT testing and reactive callout cover. Fixed annual fee, transparent VAT, one engineer who knows your site.

What sectors do you work in?

Offices, schools, healthcare and care homes, retail, pubs and restaurants, hospitality, agricultural buildings, light industrial workshops, heritage and listed commercial properties.

Will the same engineer come back for callouts?

Yes. We work to a 40-minute drive radius from BA6 Glastonbury, so the engineer who installs the system is the engineer who returns under warranty, for the EICR five years later, or for an emergency callout.
