from £850+ your charger unit

✓ OZEV approved ✓ NAPIT approved ✓ DNO notification included ✓ 3-year workmanship warranty 5.0 ★ (13 reviews)

What's in the £850 installation

  • Free pre-install survey — confirms consumer unit capacity and best cable route
  • Charger unit advice — we recommend and supply the best model for your use (myenergi Zappi, Ohme, Hypervolt, etc.); the charger unit itself is priced separately by model
  • Up to 10m cable run from consumer unit to charger location
  • Dedicated 32A circuit protected by a Type A RCBO — mandatory for EV chargers per BS 7671 (DC fault detection built into the charger handles the 6mA DC residual). We never fit Type AC.
  • DNO notification handled (SSEN/WPD) — required by law for EV chargers
  • Commissioning + certification — minor works certificate issued
  • App setup + 5-min training on your new charger

When the cost is higher

  • Cable run over 10m — extra £6/metre (quoted up-front after survey)
  • Consumer unit upgrade needed — we'll include in quote (typical £450–£850)
  • Underground or through-wall routing — priced per job
  • 3-phase installs — separate quote, usually 22kW chargers
  • The charger unit — priced separately by model; entry-level smart chargers are the most affordable, premium units (Andersen, Pod Point) cost more

OZEV grant: up to £350 for eligible renters and leaseholders (the homeowner grant for houses closed in 2022). Where you qualify, you claim it via the OZEV portal after install — we register the install and provide the certification you need.
